Not sure if these make it into the portfolio

I review many potential investing and speculating ideas throughout each week. I usually pass on most as they don't meet the portfolio's inclusion criteria; like everyone, I have limited bandwidth (you can’t kiss all the girls). In many cases, I will take a small position in my “personal portfolio” to track them and force myself to conduct in-depth research on the idea.

Several people have asked me to put these out to the subscriber community, so you can expect to see more of this type of short article in the future. I have three ideas for you in this article.
